2016 Norwood Turkey Trot

The Norwood Turkey Trot is celebrating it’s 30th Anniversary on Sunday, November 20th @ 11:00am!!
Can this be the year that we break the 1,000 runner mark…..it’s up to you!  Spread the word, sign up today and be part of one of the areas most beloved races and most challenging courses.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers, as well as to the top male and female teams.  The top three finishers in each age group be awarded medals. The first 300 runners to register will receive our much desired long sleeve t-shirt.  Runners are automatically entered into our fantastic raffle filled with great prizes and can purchase additional raffle tickets on race day!
The race was established as the main fundraiser for the Norwood High Athletic Boosters.  The Norwood High School Boosters  is a volunteer, non-profit organization, whose mission is to support all student athletes at Norwood High. We provide scholarships for seniors, seasonal award banquets, varsity jackets, team plaques, and provide financial support to many of our sporting teams that need assistance over and above what the athletic budget allows.

Fall Sports Update

Fall sports registration is due on or before Friday 8/12/16.  V/JV football will begin on 8/19.  Freshman football will begin on 8/22.  All other fall sports are eligible to start on 8/25.  Please sign up online by clicking the fall sports registration tab.
Please turn in hard copies of the following registration forms:
1.  Permission Form (two sided): Including concussion course sign off.
2.  User Fee:  User fee is $200 per season (family cap is $800 for the school year).  Please include a check with the students name and sport on the memo line.  Please make checks out to The Town of Norwood (checks will be deposited upon receipt).
3.  Updated Physical:  All physicals must be updated with the athletic department every 13 months.  Physicals must be updated throughout each season of participation.  If the physical on file with the athletic department is not up to date the student athlete will not be able to participate in practice or game competition.
4.  Pre Participation Head Injury Form.
