Norwood High School Athletic Department

We will be hosting a winter sports information meeting at 2:45pm in the auditorium at NHS on Tuesday 11/9/21. Individual team meetings will take place following the meeting at 3pm.

Winter sports registration is available through the Aspen Parent Portal. Registration is due on or before Tuesday 11/16/21. If you need assistance with your Aspen account please contact npsaspensupport@norwood.k12.ma.us. All students will need an updated physical in order to participate. Please email updated physicals to: athletics@norwood.k12.ma.us Winter sports begin on Monday 11/29/21.

Cheerleading: All grades, Friday 8/20 & Sat 8/21 9am-11am NHS Gym.

Football: Grades 10-12, Friday 8/20 & Sat 8/21 report to NHS at 7am. Contact Head Coach Manny Lopes manny.lopes@norwood.k12.ma.us to receive equipment.

Football: Grade 9, Monday 8/23-Friday 8/27 4-6pm NHS. Contact Coach Manny Lopes manny.lopes@norwood.k12.ma.us to receive equipment.

Bs & Gs Cross Country: All grades, Monday 8/23 & Tuesday 8/24 8am at NHS Track.

Field Hockey: All grades, Monday 8/23 & Tuesday 8/24 8am-11am NHS Turf.

Golf: All grades, Monday 8/23 & Tuesday 8/24 1pm at NCC.

Bs Soccer: All grades, Wednesday 8/25 8-11am & Thursday 8/26 3-6pm at Father Mac’s.

Gs Soccer: All grades, Monday 8/23 3-5pm NHS Turf, Tuesday 8/24 8-10am Father Mac’s.

Gs Volleyball: Grade 9, Monday 8/23 9-11am NHS Gym, grades 10-12 Monday 8/23 11-1pm NHS GYM. Tuesday 8/24 all grades 11-1pm NHS GYM.

Summer conditioning will start on Thursday 7/8/21. The program will run on M.T,TH until Thursday 8/12/21. All participants must be registered through the Aspen Parent Portal and provide and updated physical from the past 13 months in order to participate. Each session will be 60-90 min in duration. Program times:

7am- Girls soccer, girls volleyball

8am- Field Hockey, Cheerleading

9am- All boys and boys and girls cross country.
